12-Year-Old Diver Mia DaPonte Earns PADI Master Scuba Diver Certification

Mia DaPonte, at just 12 years old, has become the youngest female to earn the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification in the USA. She completed her Master Diver training by first obtaining certifications in Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and completing at least 50 dives. Mia also holds more than six PADI Specialty Certifications, including CPR and Underwater Photography. She performed her final dives in Cozumel, Mexico, where she had to demonstrate key diving skills, including rescue techniques. Mia expressed her pride in her accomplishment and the friendships she made during her training.
