“Reel it in for the Reefs” – An Epic Collaboration among the Palm Beach Dive Community
The Kyalami Scuba Club organized a clean-up dive event in Palm Beach called “Reel it in for the Reefs” with the help of various environmental organizations. The event aimed to tackle the issue of discarded fishing line to protect marine life, especially sea turtles. Dive community members volunteered, collecting 725 pounds of debris, emphasizing the importance of sustainable diving practices and offering tips on how to make every dive a clean-up dive.
