Braving the Mysterious Bradley
The Carl D. Bradley, a large shipwreck lying 110 meters deep in Lake Michigan, is a challenging dive site for experienced divers. Built in 1927, the ship sank in 1958 during a fierce storm, resulting in the loss of many crew members. A dive team led by Jeff Lindsay explored the wreck in 2023, encountering difficulties like cold water and poor visibility. Despite the challenges, they found the wreck in great condition, showcasing its haunting beauty and historical significance, cementing its status as a legendary dive for those adventurous enough to attempt it.
