The Parat wreck, located in Gulen, Norway, is part of a dive site that includes the wreck of the German freighter MV Ferndale. The Ferndale sank after hitting rocks in December 1944 while transporting potatoes and ammunition. The Parat, a Norwegian dive support vessel, was sent to assist but was also attacked and sank nearby. These two wrecks provide a unique diving experience on a 45-degree slope, allowing for a well-managed decompression profile while exploring the remnants like the engine room and anti-aircraft guns of the Parat.
