Underwater Photographer of the Year 2025 is open

The Underwater Photographer of the Year (UPY) contest for 2025 is now accepting entries from November 1, 2024, until January 4, 2025. This year marks the contest’s 60th anniversary and features a partnership with PADI as a category sponsor. The competition includes 12 main categories, such as Wide Angle and Macro, and introduces a new category focused on coral reefs. Winners will be announced at an award ceremony and their images showcased globally, emphasizing the importance of underwater photography and marine conservation.
