Filming 360 in The Bahamas

In December 2024, a unique filming expedition took place in The Bahamas to capture sharks and rays for a new project by the Shark Trust. Filmmakers visited Nassau, Bimini, and Grand Bahama, experiencing diverse underwater habitats while encountering a total of 148 sharks and rays from eight different species. The footage will be used for “OneOcean360: A Shark Story,” a 360-degree immersive film aimed at enhancing understanding of sharks and their ecological importance. The project utilized affordable Insta360 X4 cameras and aims to inspire audiences to appreciate these vital marine creatures.
