Get to Know Our Team: Ibrahim Valentijn

Ibrahim Valentijn is a new trainee with Reef Renewal Bonaire, where he contributes to coral restoration efforts. Growing up in Bonaire, he developed a passion for the ocean through activities like snorkeling and diving. His journey with Reef Renewal began during a short internship, which he extended out of love for the work. Now, he balances his studies with fieldwork, exploring projects like coral spawning and restoration. Ibrahim values the teamwork and new perspectives he gains while working on the unique challenges of ocean conservation.
