On June 8, Sea Shepherd will host a beach cleanup at Coney Island to help protect marine life. Volunteers will collect plastics and debris that could harm whales, dolphins, and other ocean creatures. This cleanup is part of World Oceans Day, highlighting the danger that trash poses when it washes into the ocean. Everyone is welcome to join, but those under 18 must be with an adult. Sea Shepherd will provide cleanup supplies; participants should bring sun protection and wear closed-toe shoes.
