Photographer of the Week – David Slater

David Slater is an underwater photographer based in Monterey Bay. His love for the ocean began in childhood and grew during college in Hawaii. David captures beautiful images of marine life using a DSLR and strobe lights. He enjoys the challenges of diving in difficult conditions. Photography is for him about connecting with the ocean, not about fame or profit.
