Sage Ono began underwater photography in 2015 using a GoPro. He now uses a Nikon D850 and loves macro photography for its creative flexibility. Sage enjoys encountering unique animals like lampreys and jellies during dives. He believes in learning from other photographers to improve his skills. Monterey is special for its diverse marine life and photography community.
