Female diver survives 24-hour cold-water drift off Russia

A woman diver was rescued after drifting for 24 hours in cold water. She was diving in the Tatar Strait near Russia when she got separated. Her guide surfaced early, leaving her alone in the water. The water temperature was between 8 and 12°C, making it very cold. She was found by a search-and-rescue crew and received medical care.
