Great Barrier Reef tour operator fined following death of British snorkeller

A tour operator in Australia was fined AU$60,000 after a British snorkeller died. The snorkeller went missing during a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. His friends alerted the crew twice, but they did not start a search. Later, another vessel found his body nearby. The operator pleaded guilty to not following safety rules, but the death was ruled natural causes.
