This workshop included representatives from ten islands and focused on overcoming financial challenges linked to conservation efforts. Participants shared ideas on financing strategies and presented successful case studies relevant to their ecosystems. The event aimed to foster collaboration among islands as they work towards a goal of protecting 30% of ocean habitats by 2030. Many left with actionable plans to secure funding and support marine conservation initiatives.
