Child sex assault fugitive found working as Cozumel scuba instructor

A fugitive named Rogelio Guadalupe-Gonzalez was arrested while working as a scuba diving instructor in Cozumel, Mexico. He had been on the run for 13 years for charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The FBI’s Dallas branch brought him back to the U.S. through a program called “Project Welcome Home,” which aids in repatriating fugitives. Guadalupe-Gonzalez is currently in custody with a significant bond amount, awaiting trial.
