Diving with Marine Iguanas – Dinosaurs on the Shore

Marine iguanas are unique lizards found only in the Galápagos Islands. They have adapted to life in water, using their flattened tails for swimming. Marine iguanas can often be seen basking on shore or swimming while feeding on algae. They egest excess salt through their nostrils, which looks like sneezing. While diving, you may spot these fascinating creatures alongside other marine life.
