Emergency First Response® Compression-Only CPR Program  

Compression-only CPR, also known as hands-only CPR, is getting renewed attention for its effectiveness in emergencies. It focuses on providing continuous chest compressions without rescue breaths, making it easier to remember and safer for those worried about disease transmission. This method can circulate oxygen to vital organs, and even though it’s not as comprehensive as traditional CPR, it’s better than doing nothing. Training for this process is quick and can effectively serve as a community service, especially for those involved in water activities like scuba diving.
