Florida prop death captain sentenced to eight years

A Florida dive boat captain was sentenced to over eight years in prison. This follows the death of a diver named Mollie Ghiz-Flynn. The captain’s boat had serious mechanical issues but he still took divers out. Ghiz-Flynn was injured and drowned after getting caught in the boat’s propeller. The captain was also found guilty of fraud related to Covid-19 relief funds.
