Garmin has launched the Descent X50i dive computer at the DEMA Show in Las Vegas. This device features a 3-inch color touchscreen display and uses SubWave sonar technology for communication among divers. It includes an integrated backup dive light, a 20 ATM dive rating, and metal buttons that are leakproof. Notable features also include air integration to monitor tank pressure, dive mapping with over 4,000 sites, and real-time depth history for advanced planning. The Descent X50i retails for $1,499.99 and is suitable for both technical and recreational divers.
