Great white shark makes rare Nusa Penida appearance

A rare sighting of a great white shark occurred near Nusa Penida, a large island in Bali. The shark was observed at a dive site called Pura Ped, which is known for strong currents and vibrant coral reefs. This encounter, filmed by divemaster Fabian Clinton, was unusual but not unprecedented, with another sighting reported in 2019. Divers were advised to stay calm and face the shark instead of swimming away, as this could reduce potential danger.
