Historic Cannon from the London Wreck Revealed after 360 Years Below the Waves
A 17th-century bronze cannon from the shipwreck known as the London has been uncovered after 360 years in the Thames Estuary. Discovered by diver Steve Ellis, this important relic is being protected by Historic England’s forensic marking program to prevent theft.
