I.CARE, SSI Blue Oceans, and Mares Team Up to Remove Over 36,000 Pounds of Debris from the Florida Keys

The 3rd Annual I.CARE Trash Derby successfully removed over 36,000 pounds of debris from the Florida Keys, thanks to the efforts of 900 participants including divers and conservation advocates. Organized by I.CARE in collaboration with SSI Blue Oceans and Mares, this event highlighted the importance of community-driven conservation. Teams gathered debris from land, shorelines, and underwater locations, contributing significantly to the health of the marine environment. Special awards were given for top contributors and unique items found, emphasizing collective efforts toward marine protection.
