Mediterranean Programme Angel Shark Marmara Expedition

In July, researchers traveled to Türkiye to study angel sharks. They are part of a project funded by the Shark Conservation Fund. This initiative focuses on preserving angel sharks in the Mediterranean Sea. The team is working with local partners from Tunisia and Cyprus. They aim to identify important areas for these endangered sharks.
