Oil tanker and cargo ship collide off UK coast

A container ship and an oil tanker collided in the North Sea, about ten miles off the Yorkshire coast. The oil tanker, Stena Immaculate, was anchored and reportedly carrying Jet-A1 fuel when it was struck by the Solong, a Portuguese-flagged container ship. Following the collision, a massive fireball erupted. Emergency services quickly responded, rescuing 32 crew members, though the extent of any oil spill or damage is still unclear.
