Photographing Eastern Hellbenders

Eastern hellbenders are large salamanders living in clean, fast rivers. To photograph them, use a small dome lens for wide angles. Lighting is key; avoid backscatter from strobes. Natural light makes for cleaner images but needs high ISO and slow shutter speeds. Capturing their behavior makes for exciting photographs in their rocky habitats.
