The author reviews the Nauticam Fisheye Conversion Port (FCP-1), a water-contact optic that turns a standard zoom lens into a fisheye zoom lens suitable for wide-angle underwater photography. The FCP-1 offers a wide zoom range, good sharpness, excellent color rendering, minimal chromatic aberration, and controlled reflections while shooting sunballs. It performs well for over-unders, although the top portion of split shots can be slightly soft. Overall, it is versatile and leverages the high resolution of modern full-frame sensors.
