Six Feared Dead After Tourist Submarine Sinks Off Egypt’s Red Sea Coast

A tourist submarine named Sindbad sank off the coast of Hurghada, Egypt, early on March 27, 2025. Authorities fear that six people may have died in the incident, while nine others were injured. About 40 tourists were aboard, and many were rescued by emergency services. The cause of the sinking is still under investigation, while the injured passengers are receiving medical care.
