South Australia installs bubble curtains to protect giant cuttlefish

South Australia is installing a bubble curtain to protect giant cuttlefish. This project aims to guard against a harmful algal bloom affecting their breeding grounds. The cuttlefish gather near Whyalla to mate from May to August. The bubble curtain will use air tubes to reduce harmful algae in the water. Protecting cuttlefish is important for both the environment and local tourism.
