Coral larvae are attracted to the sounds of healthy reefs, helping them choose where to settle and grow. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution researchers found that broadcasting these reef sounds can encourage larvae to recolonize damaged reefs. This could be a vital tool in restoring ailing reefs and supporting biodiversity. Read the article
