The UK Ministry of Defense salvaged the ship’s bell from the USS Jacob Jones, the first US Navy destroyer sunk by a German sub in WWI. The wreck was found near England, and efforts are being made to preserve it. The bell will be displayed in a US Navy museum. Read the article
