Teen Survives a Horrible Shark Attack.

A teen named Paige Winter survived a shark attack while swimming in shallow water off the coast of North Carolina. Despite losing fingers and a leg in the incident, she was rescued by her father and is recovering well. Shark attacks are rare, with odds at about 1 in 11.5 million. In 2018, there were 32 unprovoked shark attacks reported in the United States, which is half of the global total. Paige continues to have a positive spirit and love for sharks despite her traumatic experience.
