The Tragic Fate of the Kouri Maru

The Kouri Maru was a wooden sailing vessel that tragically capsized in 1947 while transporting passengers, primarily women and children, in rough seas. Ten people drowned during the incident. Today, divers can explore the wreck site, which lies at about 15 meters deep. The wreck is well-preserved and has become home to various marine life after decades underwater. This dive site is recommended for those interested in shipwrecks and ocean history.
