Tide Turners: How Girl Up Youth Across the US Took Action for Earth Day 2025 

For Earth Day 2025, Girl Up USA partnered with Ocean Wise. They organized the second Shoreline Cleanup Day of Action. Young ocean protectors removed 239 kilograms of litter from 12 states. This helped prevent trash from entering waterways and harming marine life. Most litter was small plastic pieces and bottlecaps.
