UN Agrees High Seas Treaty

The UN has approved the High Seas Treaty. This treaty aims to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030. It will create marine protected areas for wildlife. Activities in these areas must support conservation goals. The treaty needs 60 countries to adopt it before it starts.
