Freediver tracks down astonished ring-owner

British-born Barbados freediver Alex Davis found a gold ring while using a metal detector near Miami Beach. He discovered the ring buried under sand and coral at a depth of 2 meters. The ring was not only shiny and undamaged but also had an engraving that indicated it belonged to someone from McMaster University, class of 1965. Following his find, Davis was able to track down the astonished owner and return the ring.
