World Manta Day returns on 17 September 2024
World Manta Day is celebrated on 17 September 2024. This year’s theme is ‘The Power of Storytelling.’ The Manta Trust is inviting people to raise awareness about the importance of protecting manta rays. They will hold a Facebook Live workshop on 11 September to discuss how storytelling can help in conservation efforts. Participants can ask questions about manta rays and learn how each story contributes to their protection.
