Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest Set for Oct. 19 in Key Largo
An Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest will take place on October 19 in Key Largo. Divers will descend 30 feet to carve pumpkins into themed sculptures or traditional jack-o’-lanterns. The event takes place in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and is organized by the Amoray Dive Resort. A $99 entry fee includes diving gear and a pumpkin, while snorkelers can join for $69 to observe the fun. Prizes will be awarded to the top three carvers.
