SSI Continues Environmental Education Leadership with TWO New Specialty Courses
SSI has launched two new specialty courses: “Coral Reef Restoration” and “Invasive Species Management.” These courses are part of SSI’s Blue Oceans initiative to promote environmental stewardship among divers. The Coral Reef Restoration course teaches divers how to participate in coral planting and health assessments, while the Invasive Species Management course trains divers to identify and manage harmful invasive species. Additionally, SSI is introducing the Ocean Guardian Digital Card to recognize divers who complete these specialties, highlighting their commitment to ocean conservation.
