‘V6’ blind & paraplegic buddy-pair claim dive record

A blind journalist and a paraplegic amputee from Lancashire are attempting to set a Guinness World Record for scuba diving. Mohammed Salim Patel and Shaun Gash plan to dive in the Red Sea for an hour to a depth of 40 meters. They believe their unique combination of abilities will make them strong divers. Their earlier training in cold water was featured in a BBC documentary series.
