Prop kills schoolgirl on whale shark trip

A 15-year-old student named Jenna Chan from Singapore died tragically after being struck by a boat propeller while snorkeling in the Maldives. She was participating in a whale shark research project with her school, St Joseph’s Institution International. The incident happened near Dhigura island in South Ari Atoll, shortly after she and her group entered the water. Jenna was transported to a health center but was pronounced dead upon arrival, and an investigation is underway.
