The Not So Macro Life of Dauin

Dauin, located on Negros Island in the Philippines, is famous for its small marine life and muck diving. However, divers are often surprised by the presence of larger creatures, like Green Turtles that graze on seagrass nearby. The area is also known for turtle-spotting at nearby Apo Island, where snorkelers and divers can see both Green and critically endangered Hawksbill turtles. Research indicates a healthy population of these turtles, making Dauin a great spot for both macro and larger marine life.
