Scuba Assassins Culling Lionfish with A Glock [Video]

A scuba diver in the Gulf of Mexico uses an unusual method to remove invasive lionfish by shooting them with an underwater Glock 17. This method was part of an experiment to see if a gun could be fired at 100 feet underwater. Lionfish are harmful to coral reefs because they eat many small fish and have no predators. Typically, divers and spear-fishermen use spear guns to control their population, which is a safer and more common practice than using firearms underwater.
