Sea Shepherd and Mexican Navy Expand Partnership to Protect More Waters

The Mexican Navy and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society have signed an agreement to protect marine environments and monitor protected natural areas in Mexico. This partnership aims to enhance efforts in key locations such as the Vaquita Refuge in the Upper Gulf of California and the Bajos del Norte and Arrecife Alacranes National Parks in the Gulf of Mexico. The collaboration includes improved technology for detecting illegal fishing activities and boosts enforcement of marine laws. Both organizations are dedicated to preserving endangered species and supporting ocean governance.
