Behind the Shot: Costa Rican Caiman
A scuba photographer shares his experience photographing spectacled caimans in Costa Rica. He faced challenges finding clear water and active caimans, as they are nocturnal creatures. Armed with a Nikon camera and specialized underwater housing, he was able to photograph the caimans in their natural habitat. Carefully observing their behavior, he avoided potential danger from the adult female while capturing beautiful images. His efforts paid off when he won a photo contest with his underwater shots.
