The Sandtiger Shark, also known as the Raggedtooth or Grey Nurse Shark, is a slow but strong swimmer found in warm coastal waters. They are docile and can often be seen in groups, exhibiting fascinating behaviors like herd-fishing and complex courtship. Interestingly, they have a unique reproductive process known as adelphophagy where the largest pup survives by consuming its siblings in the uterus, and they can achieve neutral buoyancy by swallowing air.
