Since 2011, the PADI AWARE Foundation’s Dive Against Debris program has mobilized over 90,000 divers to remove 2.5 million pieces of marine debris. Local dive centers, like Rwenzori Scuba Divers in Uganda and AquaMarine Diving in Bali, have made significant contributions by removing tons of debris and reporting on marine health. These efforts help to protect ocean ecosystems and foster community involvement in conservation.
