Divers rescued after Komodo liveaboard sinks

A liveaboard diving vessel named Putri Papua sank near Sorong, Indonesia. Seventeen people, including crew and passengers, were rescued by the Indonesian Navy. The liveaboard suffered engine damage, which led to the emergency evacuation of its passengers and crew. Most of those rescued were unharmed, but two crew members sustained minor injuries. This incident highlights the importance of safety measures while diving and traveling on liveaboard trips.
