I Wrote a Children’s Book About a Scuba Mom – Here’s How I Did It

Sarah, the founder of Girls that Scuba, wrote a children’s book titled “My Mum’s a Scuba Diver” to inspire the next generation about scuba diving. The idea came to her while traveling in Istanbul, and she wanted to show strong female role models in diving. After initially facing rejection from publishers, she decided to self-publish the book. It features engaging illustrations from Elisa Varetti and aims to capture kids’ interest in marine exploration and the ocean. The book is part of a larger mission to promote diversity in scuba diving and is targeted at children aged 0-8.
