Lanzarote scuba diver dies after suffering heart attack
A 70-year-old scuba diver died from a heart attack at Charco del Palo, Lanzarote, on October 14, 2024. The emergency services received reports of the diver collapsing after exiting the water around 1:50 PM. Despite quick medical assistance, paramedics could not resuscitate him. The area is known for its volcanic underwater scenery and marine life, including angel sharks and rays. An investigation into the diver’s death is currently underway.
