Ocean Wise Mobile Education Reaches Thousands in Atlantic Canada
The Ocean Wise Mobile Education team recently completed a summer tour across Atlantic Canada, part of their Waves of Change Program. They visited Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick, engaging over 14,000 people through interactive experiences like the Ocean Wise Sea Dome. Their goal was to share ocean and climate education with various communities. This tour not only spread awareness but also involved visits to schools, camps, and science centres, enhancing the public’s understanding of ocean conservation.
