Online High Definition Photogrammetry Models
Learn about the challenges of sharing high-definition photogrammetry models online and the author’s work on creating detailed models of underwater wrecks, particularly the P-38 wreck off Torrey Pines in San Diego. Various resolutions of the models are highlighted, ranging from medium to ultra-high quality. The options for sharing these high-resolution models, including using the Metashape viewer, upgrading Sketchfab accounts, exploring Constructed Reality, or partnering with Atomontage for innovative technology, are also mentioned. Collaboration with Atomontage has enabled the author to upload high-resolution models into a publicly viewable montage, with a particular focus on the need for mobile device support.
